The Governor of Asyut, Major General Mohamed Alwan, attended a ceremony for the delivery of 100 projects aimed at empowering young people with disabilities as part of the "We Are Capable" initiative, funded by the Louvre French Agency. The initiative focuses on supporting marginalized groups by providing job opportunities and developing their technical and administrative skills, with the goal of enhancing their economic independence and improving their income levels. The event included the distribution of supplies for the projects, which featured products such as carpets, candles, cleaning supplies, leather goods, and tailoring. The governor emphasized the importance of ongoing cooperation between government entities and associations to achieve sustainable development and to provide integrated support for the most in-need groups.
