The Ministry of Education confirmed that there will be no modifications to the specifications of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) exam for the primary and preparatory levels for the 2026-2027 academic year. The proportion of essay questions will remain the same, and there is no allocation of 80% for them as has been circulated on social media. The Ministry indicated that the exams will be conducted according to the previously approved specifications, with no changes to the question distribution. Additionally, the subject is non-weighted in the overall grade for primary grades. This statement comes in response to rumors claiming an increase in the percentage of essay questions and modifications to the exam specifications.
