October War third statement reports successful air strikes
During the October War of 1973, the Egyptian Air Force successfully carried out its missions against enemy targets in Sinai. Military reports confirmed that all aircraft returned safely except for one, and that they struck enemy positions directly. This contributed to achieving significant field results at the outset of the battle, which began with Egyptian forces crossing the Suez Canal and launching an attack on Israeli positions in Sinai.
