Fadl: Summit won't decide Al-Hotam's fate
Mohamed Fadl, a former star of Al-Ahly Club, confirmed that the result of the upcoming Cairo Derby against Zamalek will not determine the future of Moroccan coach Amouta. He emphasized the importance of maintaining football stability and avoiding repeating past mistakes of changing coaching staff, especially with the upcoming important match at Cairo Stadium in the sixth round of the 2026-2027 Egyptian Premier League. Fadl clarified that losing the derby could impact Amouta's relationship with Al-Ahly fans, even though the season is still long and the team currently ranks third with 13 points, just behind Zamalek who also has the same number of points but with a better goal difference.
