Kamel Clarifies Musicians' Syndicate on Assem Sasa Video
Musical artist Mustafa Kamel, the head of the Musicians Syndicate, revealed that the Syndicate will investigate the circulating video clip of festival performer Essam Sassa, in which he appears live holding a cigarette, to verify its authenticity and accuracy. He explained that the council will review the clip next Sunday, and if the incident is confirmed to be genuine, they will take the appropriate action. Emphasizing the importance of thorough verification before making any judgments, he noted that decisions should not be based solely on social media circulation. So far, the nature of the cigarette shown in his hand has not been clarified, and no official confirmation has been issued regarding its contents.
