Al-Ahly rises 7 spots after Zamalek win
Al Ahly Club made a significant jump in the world club rankings, rising from 88th to 81st internationally after its 2-0 victory over Zamalek in the Egyptian Premier League top match. This win helped improve its position from third place among African clubs and second locally. Conversely, Zamalek dropped from 183rd to 200th worldwide following its loss to Al Ahly, leaving it with a lower ranking, as it was previously seventh in Africa and third locally before the match. This change reflects the results of the game and their importance in determining team rankings on both a global and African level.
