Jaan Rames Reflects on 1973 Heroics and Social Media
The young boy, Jean Ramez, participated in the 44th Educational Symposium of the Armed Forces, held on the occasion of the October 1973 victories. He conducted intensive rehearsals to deliver a distinguished performance in front of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the audience. Through his participation, he gained new knowledge about the October War and called on his peers to verify sources of information and not rely on social media posts without fact-checking, in order to enhance their awareness of the war's history. The event featured the screening of a film and a segment titled "Journey Through Time," attended by representatives of the Egyptian presidency.
