The ninth edition of the El Gouna Film Festival was held, during which the professionals behind the camera were honored—those who sacrifice their time behind the lens despite not being widely recognized. The festival features 77 films from 69 countries, with events running until October 23rd. The festival will also honor actress Mona Zaki with the Creative Achievement Award, along with a dedicated dialogue session discussing her artistic career.
