Higher Education Denies Literary Students in Medicine
The Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education confirmed that the admission requirements for medical schools, including Al-Zaher University, include achieving a certain overall score and meeting geographical residence criteria. There is absolutely no acceptance of students from the literary (arts) division into medical faculties. They clarified that approximately 20,000 Egyptian students who hold foreign certificates have been accepted this year, all of whom have been admitted to Egyptian universities. The ministry emphasized that the electronic coordination system ensures justice and equal opportunities for all students, and that the admission criteria are related to overall score and residence, not educational category.
