Aswan honors insight and diversity
In Aswan, celebratory events were organized in Kom Ombo city on the occasion of International White Cane Day, aiming to highlight the capabilities of visually impaired individuals and promote their integration into society. The activities included artistic and Quranic performances, distribution of white canes and gifts to enhance their independence and participation in activities. In the same context, the initiative "Your Respect for Others is Power" was launched in Abu Simbel to spread a culture of respect and tolerance, with the goal of reinforcing citizenship values and social equality. These efforts are part of the governorate's plan to support people with disabilities and foster social cohesion, in line with Egypt's 2030 vision and the presidential initiative for their empowerment.
