The ceremony took place at Fawzi Fawzi Theatre on the Nile Corniche and included a performance of the "Army of the Sun" operetta, highlighting the heroic efforts of the armed forces during the October War, along with a visual presentation about war heroes. These festivities will continue until October 22, synchronized with the phenomenon of the Sun’s alignment with the Abu Simbel Temple. The aim of the events is to showcase Aswan’s cultural and touristic strengths, reflecting Egypt’s rich heritage. Participation from official entities and artists from various governorates aims to foster cultural and civilizational engagement with Africa.
