Regulations for Teacher Incentives and First-Grade Allowances
The Ministry of Education announces the regulations for distributing teaching incentives and incentives for early grades to teachers, with amounts reaching up to 2,100 Egyptian pounds, during the 2026-2027 academic year, from October 2026 to June 2027. The incentive includes categories such as school principals, permanently appointed teachers, and teachers appointed through the 30,000 Teachers Competition, in addition to kindergarten teachers and those teaching subjects that require skill-based instruction. The regulations emphasize the importance of fulfilling the legal number of teaching hours, reducing supervision hours, and calculating the incentive based on performance evaluation and actual work. Consideration is also given to teachers over the retirement age during the same period.
