Alexandria removes two buildings near canal site

Two neighboring buildings adjacent to the collapsed canal property in Alexandria have been removed after their structural damage and the danger they posed to residents. This followed the evacuation of 8 families from the buildings. The collapsed building, which has four floors, fell down to ground level, resulting in the death of five people and the injury of two others. The governorate has provided temporary housing for the affected families and coordinated with relevant authorities to disburse compensation and offer psychological and social support. Additionally, engineering measures have been taken to evacuate and remove the neighboring buildings to ensure safety.
