Pope Honors Top Students
Pope Tawadros II honored more than 400 students from churches in Cairo’s pastoral sectors who scored 90% or higher in the General Secondary Certificate examinations. The ceremony was held on Friday, October 30, 2026, at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Abbassia. He said that success is the fruit of honesty, hard work, and commitment, and that its benefits include strengthening emotional well-being, bringing joy to families and the Church, and contributing to the nation’s success. He also announced that the initiative to honor high-achieving students would be extended to those who earn other certificates.
