Wheat Fees Cut by Half
The Kafr El Sheikh Agriculture Directorate has launched an initiative offering a 50% reduction in agricultural mechanization service fees for wheat farmers who own less than two feddans and are affiliated with the Credit, Agrarian Reform, or General Supervision sectors. The four services are shallow plowing and deep plowing, each for 300 pounds instead of 600; laser leveling for 350 pounds instead of 700; and seed drilling for 250 pounds instead of 500. Eligible farmers can contact their administration or local agricultural district for guidance, then visit an agricultural mechanization station or the Land Improvement Authority.
