Hotel Fall Case Decision
The Public Prosecution ordered two young Gulf men held in custody for four days pending an investigation into a young woman’s fall from the third floor of a well-known hotel downtown. Preliminary investigations indicated that she had demanded money from them in exchange for not publishing videos she had recorded of them. She then threatened to throw herself from the building and followed through, suffering bruises and fractures. Security forces detained the two men, and the woman was taken to hospital.
