Egypt Forum Results Soon
Cabinet spokesperson Counselor Mohamed Adel said that the recommendations of Egypt Forum 2026 and the directives of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi would be published on the forum’s official website within days. The mechanisms for implementation, timelines and monitoring indicators would follow. The government has formed a working group comprising ministries and agencies to follow up on the recommendations, and has begun taking practical steps. These include raising teachers’ total pay by between EGP 5,000 and EGP 6,000 in two phases, in July of the 2027/2028 and 2028/2029 fiscal years, and providing 20,000 housing units for low-income households. The first phase of an initiative for the early detection of childhood cancer will also begin in January 2027, covering children from birth through age 18.
