Al-Azhar Retiree Proctors
Al-Azhar University is accepting applications from retirees to proctor first-semester examinations for the 2026–2027 academic year at its men’s and women’s faculties in Cairo. Preference will be given to former university employees. Former employees of the Ministry of Education and retirees from government entities may also apply, provided they meet the age, health and physical-fitness requirements; hold an appropriate qualification; have no disqualifying convictions or disciplinary penalties on record; and are not related, up to and including the fourth degree, to any student at the faculty where they would work. Applications must be submitted in hard copy to the General Administration for Internal Audit and Governance at the University’s General Secretariat, along with a copy of a valid national ID card and a copy of the applicant’s educational qualification, within seven days of the announcement.
