The local administration removed two waste dumps on Dayr El-Nahiya Street and in downtown Sahel Selim, in preparation for planting trees at both sites and expanding green spaces. Inspection campaigns covering 18 food and commercial establishments in West Assiut District and Manfalut Center resulted in the disposal of around 120 kilograms of unfit food. Officials also issued citations for health and food-supply violations, including 18 for failing to meet health and cleanliness requirements and 29 for workers who did not carry health certificates. In El-Ghanayem, campaigns to clear rubbish and waste from streets and villages and transport it to designated sites continued, alongside tree pruning and trimming.
