Al-Fustat Gardens to Open
Cairo’s Fustat Gardens are nearing the completion of their final phases ahead of their expected opening in the coming period. Covering around 500 feddans, the project is set to become one of the largest of its kind in Africa and the Middle East. It includes green spaces, recreational areas and service facilities, while preserving the area’s historic character and the surroundings of the Amr ibn al-As Mosque. A facilities management system is also being put in place to ensure the gardens’ long-term sustainability.
