Aswan Expo Empowers Women
Aswan Governor Amr Lashin opened the “Egypt’s Hands: Handicrafts and Heritage” exhibition in Al-Mahatta Square. Featuring 55 exhibitors, the event runs from November 5 to 7 and showcases and markets environmentally friendly and heritage products. The exhibition aims to support artisans and empower women and young people economically by providing marketing outlets and sustainable job opportunities. The governor instructed officials to prepare promotional materials for products made by women exhibitors and publish them free of charge on the governorate’s official page to reach a wider audience and more customers.
