Students Visit Nahtay
The Faculty of Agriculture at Ain Shams University organized a field visit to Nahṭay village in Zefta District, Gharbia Governorate, with 58 students from the Economics and Social Sciences Program taking part as part of the 2026–2027 academic year’s field training. The students learned about projects under the “Decent Life” initiative in the village, which is recognized as the Delta’s first smart green village. They visited service, educational, healthcare, and agricultural facilities, including the service complex, youth center, Nahṭay School, and drinking water station. The visit aimed to connect academic study with practical experience and introduce students to how these projects improve services and quality of life while supporting sustainable rural development.
