Hassan’s Future Uncertain
Sports broadcaster Saif Zaher said he called Egyptian Football Association president Hany Abu Rida to ask about Hossam Hassan’s future with the national team. Abu Rida avoided answering, and no firm or public decision has been made about the head coach. Zaher explained that the federation meeting scheduled for Saturday concerns only the Olympic team, while the senior team’s situation remains unclear ahead of its two Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Malawi.
