Thousands of tents housing displaced Palestinians were flooded across various areas of the Gaza Strip, including Gaza City, Deir al-Balah, Nuseirat, Jabalia and Beit Lahia, by heavy rain brought on by a low-pressure system. Two Palestinians were injured in the north of the Strip when a wall of a building damaged in an earlier Israeli bombardment collapsed. The cold and rain further compounded the suffering of displaced people living in dilapidated tents without heating or protection.
