Al-Azhar Outreach to Siwa
Al-Azhar’s Islamic Research Academy launched an outreach and awareness campaign on Saturday, sending a group of Al-Azhar female preachers to Siwa Oasis in Matrouh Governorate. The week-long program is being held in cooperation with institutions focused on women, families and children. The sessions address religious and social issues affecting women, girls and children; women’s role in strengthening community security; ways to counter ideological extremism; and how to protect children from misguided ideas.
