Opinions were divided over the ending of *Taleʿ Nazel*. Nora, played by Mona Zaki, takes revenge on her husband, Ali, by posting a video of him using cocaine. The police arrest him, and he is sent to rehab. Meanwhile, Nora loses her dream of becoming a mother after miscarrying a fetus with abnormalities linked to its father’s drug use. Critic Tarek El-Shennawy felt the ending invoked the idea of “divine justice” to please the audience, while Magda Khairallah described it as realistic and mature, arguing that the characters faced the consequences of their actions and that the series was nearly flawless.
