The article reviews the third season of the TV series Vigil, a police thriller set against geopolitical crises featuring main characters DCI Amy Silva and DI Kirsten Longacre. This season shifts its focus to the Arctic region of Svalbard, where British special forces deal with Russian and Chinese threats amid global tensions involving climate crises and international espionage. While the show presents complex conspiracies and high-stakes scenarios, critics find the characters lacking depth and the numerous twists overwhelming, diminishing viewer engagement.
