Children require aroma education, scientist says
Dr. Will Tullett from the University of York advocates for better olfactory education in primary and secondary schools to improve people's ability to recognize and describe smells. He highlights that pollution and synthetic scents have weakened our sense of smell, which affects wellbeing, food safety, and self-awareness. Tullett emphasizes that understanding odors can foster empathy and help reduce societal discrimination related to olfactory perceptions.
