Farage questioned over £5m gift
Nigel Farage was interviewed by the standards commissioner over a £5 million gift from crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne, which he claims was for his personal security. The investigation concerns whether Farage properly declared the donation, with potential repercussions including sanctions or a recall petition if rules were violated. The case follows disclosures that Harborne and other donors contributed significant sums to Reform UK, prompting scrutiny over donation legality and internal party investigations.
