Court rules Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor raid warrants unlawful
A court has ruled that search warrants used in Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest were unlawful because they were issued under the wrong statutory provision. The former prince's legal challenge led to the warrants being quashed, though police may seek to retain property seized under different legal authority. The investigation relates to allegations that Mountbatten-Windsor shared information with Jeffrey Epstein during his role as UK trade envoy.
