Leoni's injury setback delays return
Giovanni Leoni's return from injury at Liverpool has been delayed due to a severe knee injury sustained on his debut, with recovery now expected to take until the next international break. The 19-year-old defender, who tore his ACL and sustained additional knee damage, was initially expected to resume training during the recent international break but faces a longer rehabilitation process. The delay is due to the injury’s complexity, requiring careful recovery to ensure long-term stability.
