Syrian Defense reports 4 personnel harmed in Qamishli attack
The Syrian Ministry of Defense reported the death of two personnel and injuries to two others from its forces in the eastern region following an attack by militants on their base in the Twayil Harb village near Qamishli. The Military Media Director stated that the fighters repelled the attack, which occurred amid tensions and protests in Hasakah Province, and that efforts are ongoing to track down the attackers and take the necessary measures. The attack took place after protests that included attacks on Kurdish IDPs who returned under government supervision to Ras al-Ain, and it is considered part of security escalations related to the situation in the area.
