U.S. Army reroutes 59 ships over Iran blockade
The U.S. Central Command announced a change in course for 59 ships as part of the naval blockade imposed on Iran, with 3 ships being disabled and two boarded to ensure compliance. Capterra revealed that half of the ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz in August chose the route managed by Iran, while others concealed their data, and only two ships out of 166 crossings used the U.S.-supported route. The American president confirmed that the United States has full control over the Strait of Hormuz, considering the region to be under American dominance.
