Al-Hussein Shrine Replaces Black Flag with Red
The Al-Abbas Holy Shrine in Baghdad announced that the black flag of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) has been replaced with a red flag, signaling the end of the mourning season. This change is typically used as a symbol of the conclusion of the period of grief and mourning during funeral ceremonies. It is a religious ritual observed by the shrine as part of the Islamic community's celebrations of Imam Hussain’s (peace be upon him) occasions.
