Saudi Arabia to maintain Yemen support
The Saudi-led coalition announced the continuation of its full operational support for the Yemeni armed forces. Its spokesperson confirmed that the ongoing practices of the Houthi militia— including attacks and violations against Yemenis and the Kingdom, such as attempts to target Mecca and Medina—necessitate taking necessary measures to deter their threats. He emphasized Saudi Arabia's right to defend its sovereignty and protect its security, reaffirming ongoing support for Yemen until its institutions are restored and the Houthis are eliminated, in order to preserve regional security and international trade.
