Al-Zaydi Orders Closure of Mud and Caravan Schools
The Iraqi Ministry of Education announced that Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi has been tasked with completely closing down the mud and makeshift classrooms, aiming to eliminate deteriorated buildings and provide a suitable school environment. The ministry emphasized that the presence of these structures is not consistent with Iraq's culture and educational history, and that efforts are underway to develop alternative projects for constructing modern schools that accommodate students and reduce overcrowding, within next year's budget. This move is part of the government’s efforts to improve educational infrastructure and enhance the quality of the school environment.
