Saudi Arabia intercepts Houthi ballistic missiles in southern region efforts

The Saudi Ministry of Defense reported that the air defense systems intercepted ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis targeting the southern region, following attacks on the Kingdom with missiles from Houthi positions in Saada. This comes amid a escalation by the Houthis in response to airstrikes on Sanaa Airport aimed at disabling it, amid threats of retaliation by the Houthis and the collapse of the UN-brokered ceasefire that has been in place since 2022.
