The National Center for Security and Crisis Management in Jordan announced today that it has conducted tests of the national warning message system directed to mobile phones. The goal was to measure the speed of message delivery and accuracy in targeting specific areas during emergencies and crises such as earthquakes, storms, and chemical spills. The purpose of these tests is to enhance the efficiency of the system, which helps alert citizens by reaching all devices connected to communication networks within the kingdom, including those using roaming services. If the tests are successful, the system is expected to be deployed in the coming months to provide effective alerts during various emergency situations.
