The staff of the Standards and Metrology Institution in the Northern Region uncovered an unlicensed warehouse used for mixing and packaging cleaning products into containers bearing counterfeit trademarks. This action aims to protect consumers and uphold intellectual property rights. Among the items found were equipment such as two electric mixers, two electronic scales, and a packaging machine, along with quantities of empty bottles and counterfeit labels. A total of 2,359 bottles of cleaning products and shampoos were confiscated, as well as other materials, in preparation for taking the necessary legal measures. This comes as part of ongoing efforts to monitor and combat fraud and counterfeiting.
