Disaster Management tests warning alerts
The National Center for Security and Crisis Management has issued simulated warning messages to mobile phones in Jordan as part of testing the national alert system for crises and disasters. The trials will continue until August 2nd and include sending messages in both Arabic and English with an audible alert, with these messages linked to dust storm alerts. The system aims to enhance the country's preparedness for human and natural threats to ensure quick response and increased public awareness.
