Gaza dialysis cuts risk lives
The kidney patients crisis in Gaza is escalating due to a shortage of the Pibaak material, leading to a reduction in dialysis sessions from three times a week to twice, with session duration decreasing from four to three hours. This cut threatens the lives of around 700 patients who were receiving regular treatment, as their health deteriorates and the risk of complications and death increases. It is worth noting that the shortage of equipment and normal operation has caused half of the dialysis machines to go out of service, further increasing toxin buildup in patients' bodies and placing them in a state of severe anxiety and fear. Doctors and international organizations are urgently calling for the swift provision of the necessary materials to ensure continued treatment and reduce risks to patients' lives.
