Jordan issues 3 million driving licenses
The Director of the Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department in Jordan indicated that the number of driver's licenses is approximately 3 million. He announced that the issuance of plastic licenses will be halted starting next week in favor of issuing electronic documents that can be downloaded via a mobile phone. He also clarified that the number of vehicle licenses is around 2.1 million, with about 10-15% of vehicles unlicensed. All documents are stored electronically through the Sinid app. This development is part of the digital transformation plan, aimed at facilitating access and streamlining procedures.
