Jerash Festival boosts Jordan's economy
The Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts concluded with great success, reflecting its status as a prominent cultural and economic event in Jordan. The Governor of Jerash confirmed that the comprehensive security strategy, which included increasing the presence of security personnel and implementing a flexible traffic plan, contributed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for visitors. This resulted in a rise in audience turnout for the artistic and cultural activities. Additionally, the festival helped stimulate the local economy through direct marketing opportunities for artisans and traditional products, which showcased the city's rich heritage and underscored Jordan's ability to organize major events with high professionalism. This further enhances Jerash's status as a major tourist and cultural destination at both the local and regional levels.
