IsraelPersistsTargetingUNRWA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the Israeli police raid on the Qalandiya Center affiliated with UNRWA in occupied Jerusalem. It considers this a blatant violation of international law and United Nations privileges. The ministry affirms that these Israeli measures target the agency’s presence and symbolism, which affirms the Palestinian refugees’ right of return under Resolution 194. They are also concerned about the repercussions these actions may have on UNRWA’s vital services. The ministry calls on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities in supporting the agency and confronting these systematic campaigns against its institutions.
