Jameed and Smen Festival Readies
The preparations for the 10th edition of the "Jameed and Ghee" Festival have been announced, scheduled to take place in the Husseini Gardens in Amman the day after tomorrow, Friday. The event will feature wide participation from associations and merchants from Jordanian Bedouin areas. The festival aims to promote the marketing of Jordanian women's products—specifically Jameed and Ghee—facilitate direct purchasing, and promote cultural heritage through accompanying activities. The Hashemite Fund for the Development of Jordanian Bedouin Areas, the organizer of the festival, seeks to connect associations with commercial centers and hotels to increase demand for these products. This effort aims to create job opportunities, improve the income of participating associations, and support sustainable development in Bedouin regions.
