Hot air mass impacts Jordan from Thursday
Starting Thursday, Jordan will be affected by a hot air mass, leading to a noticeable rise in temperatures that will peak on Saturday. This elevated temperature is expected to continue into mid-next week, with forecasts indicating that temperatures will significantly exceed the usual summer averages. The Meteorological Authority has issued advisories to avoid direct exposure to the sun during midday hours, to increase fluid intake, and not to leave children or the elderly in closed vehicles. Additionally, there is a warning about the increased risk of fires in forested areas due to the rising temperatures.
