Netanyahu denies Trump manipulation
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu affirmed that the United States, led by Trump, considers itself the most influential player in decision-making regarding the Iranian issue. The two discussed three main options: negotiating a broader agreement with Iran, continuing the embargo, or taking further military actions, with an emphasis that the final decision rests solely with Trump. Netanyahu denied that he tried to persuade Trump to continue military strikes against Iran, clarifying that his relationship with the American president has recently been strained, but he has held discussions to correct misunderstandings. He also expressed concern over the decline in American support for Israel but affirmed his desire for both parties to support maintaining Israeli security.
