Iranian Guard reports three member deaths in US attack
On Thursday, the U.S. military launched intensive airstrikes targeting sites inside Iran in response to Iranian attacks that targeted American bases in Jordan. The strikes targeted locations affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, including command centers, missile and drone facilities, surveillance sites, and coastal defense installations. The attack resulted in the death of three people and injured two others on Qeshm Island in Iran. Additionally, Jordanian forces announced that their air defenses intercepted five missiles launched by Iran toward the kingdom, with no injuries or damages reported. It is expected that this escalation will contribute to the widening of the conflict in the region, amid Israeli threats to continue military operations in Lebanon.
