Hamas Approves Ceasefire with Israel
Reports indicate that Hamas has reached an agreement with Israel to end the conflict, which includes provisions related to arms and the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza. The deal involves disarmament of Hamas and the dismantling of all armed factions in Gaza, to be carried out in phases under the supervision of the Peace Council, which will also oversee the reconstruction of the area. The disarmament process is expected to begin within two weeks, following a ceasefire of all military activities and adherence to a predetermined schedule. This step is considered crucial towards forming a new Palestinian government and restoring stability to the region.
