Tunisia has experienced severe weather fluctuations following a record heatwave. Coastal and western areas have received heavy rains, leading to flooding and the death of a 5-year-old child who was swept away by the waters in Sidi Bouzid province. Regions such as Mahdia, Kairouan, and Monastir recorded rainfall amounts ranging between 38 and 40 millimeters over the past 24 hours. The unstable weather conditions are expected to persist, along with a slight rise in temperatures. Thunderstorm cells are expected to develop in the afternoon, gradually extending to the eastern regions. These weather shifts follow a period of increased temperatures, with the unstable conditions continuing until the end of the current period.
